Russell Cave Baptist Church was founded in 1969. We are a Bible believing and preaching Southern Baptist Church located in the heart of the bluegrass state. Our mission is to bring people to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and to grow believers in their faith and knowledge of God and the Bible. We believe that the Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. We believe the Bible is the infallible, inerrant, word of God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose on the third day, and is seated at the right hand of God. Our mission is to fulfill the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20.
